RIT on TV: RIT Students enjoy Thanksgiving meal - on WROC

Anchor>> RIT students who live far away fromhome were able to have a home-cooked meal this Thanksgiving - thanks to Sandra Johnson----RIT'sSenior Vice President for Student Affairs.

She hosted dinner for nearly 30 students ather Pittsford home.

Students who were there are from a wide range of countries includingIndia and Nepal.

Johnson>> Well, a lot of our students whocome from outside of the United States have never experienced a Thanksgiving.

This isa very unique American holiday.

So for a lot of them--this is the first time they haveever had an American Thanksgiving.

Anchor>> Johnson sent the email invitationout to nearly 15,000 RIT students.

This was the second time Johnson had students overfor the holiday meal.
